Biographical / Historical
E. G. A. Wachholz served as an institutional chaplain in southern California. He began at Fort Bayard, New Mexico, and accepted a call from The Los Angeles Institutional Mission Association in 1921. In 1945 he accepted the full-time chaplaincy at Camarillo and Patton state hospitals. He also served at Trinity Church. Since 1935 he published "The Call of the Good Shepherd," a monthly pamphlet with devotional readings.
