Biographical / Historical
Luther Mosheim Wagner was born on 1 April 1851 in Washington County, Tennessee. He graduated from Mosheim College in 1875 and served congregations in Gravelton and Barton County, Missouri. He served as a professor and president of Concordia College, Gravelton, Missouri, from 1885 to 1889, and again from 1891 to 1927. He retired to Fredericktown, Missouri. Wagner died on 12 June 1930 and is buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Gravelton, Missouri.
