Biographical / Historical
Robert Ivan Miskimen was born on 25 October 1925 in Alliance, Nebraska. He graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Springfield, Illinois in 1952, and was called to serve at Faith Lutheran in Council Bluffs, Iowa. After 6 years in Council Bluffs, Miskimen accepted a call to Trinity Lutheran in Cherokee. He later served at Saint John Lutheran Church in Racine, Wisconsin and Saint Stephen Lutheran Church in Horicon, Wisconsin. In retirement, he served part-time at Immanuel Lutheran in Burns, Wyoming. In 1994, Miskimen retired from part time service, and he died
