Biographical / Historical

George Mezger was born on 18 December 1857 in Brunswick, Germany. He graduated from Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) in 1881. In 1896 he became a professor at Concordia, and in 1923 he went to Germany as a representative of the Missouri Synod and as a professor of theology at the seminary of the German Free Church in Berlin-Zehlendorf. He died on 3 November 1931.
