Biographical / Historical

Franz Meyr was born 3 April 1859 at Goisern, Austria. He graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Springfield, Illinois, in 1880 and was ordained and installed as pastor at Bradford, Indiana, on 25 July 1880. He also served at Friedheim (Arnsberg), Missouri, and Wegan (Brownstown), Indiana. He retired in October 1920 and died on 26 March 1926.
