Biographical / Historical
Johann Meyer was born 20 April 1840 in Giersdorf bei Verden. He was sent to America by the Hermannsburg Mission Society, and served in Winchester (1871-1876) and Caledonia (1876-1883), Wisconsin in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. He died on 1 December 1883.
