Biographical / Historical
George Meyer was born on 13 November 1880 in Modena, Wisconsin. He attended Concordia College (Saint Paul: 1896-1899), Concordia College (Milwaukee: 1899-1902), and Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis: 1902-1905). He served parishes in (Bismarck, Alberta, Canada); (Egypt Mills, Missouri); (Schumm, Ohio); (Sauers, Indiana); and (Bristol, Connecticut). He was appointed to the Committee for Doctrinal Unity for the Atlantic District in 1944. He retired in 1959. He died on 2 April 1968.
