John Henry Wefel Papers
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of a letter dated 26 March 1895 from Zanesville, Ohio, to a seminary professor (A. L. Graebner?) asking for an opinion on whether a retired pastor who left the synod during the predestination controversy can become a communing member of a synodical congregation by local action within the congregation or whether there needs to be an announcement in official publications that he is reinstated.
