Biographical / Historical
A. W. Maack was born on 5 January 1903 in Pittsville, Wisconsin. He graduated from Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) in 1929. He served congregations in New Haven and Union, Missouri; Steelville, Illinois; and Baltimore, Maryland. From 1943 until 1958, he served as the director of the synodical Trailer Missions. He also served as circuit counselor for the Western District from 1951 to 1956. He died on 26 August 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland.
