Biographical / Historical

Arnold Kuntz was born on 2 March 1926 in Clintonville, Wisconsin. He attended Concordia College, Milwaukee from 1939 to 1945 and Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) from 1945 to 1950. He served as a pastor to several church in California from 1950 to 1969, when he became the president of the Southern California District. From 1985 to 1989 he worked for the LCEF, from 1989 to 1991 as the director of Congregational Relations for the Southern California District and CCI. Since 1994 he has worked as an editor of "Portals of Prayer".
