Biographical / Historical
Arthur Kuehnert was born on 7 January 1888 in Altenberg, Missouri. He attended Concordia College, Fort Wayne from 1903 to 1909 and graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis in 1912. He was a member of the Board for Foreign Missions from 1923 to 1947, serving as the board's chair from 1932 on. He died on 3 October 1974.
