The collection contains class notes on "Exegese ueber die Briefe Pauli an die Epheser, Philipper, Colosser, I [and] II Thessal., I [and] II Timoth. Und Titus," transcribed by Johann Georg Sommer, Winter Semester, 1823-24, and a printed copy of "Comparative Darstellung des Lehrbegriffs der verschidenen christlichen Kirchenpartheien" (Leipzig: Carl Heinrich Reclam, 1824).

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The class notes were donated by the Concordia Seminary Library, June 1953; the copy of "Comparative Darstellung" by Edwin Hattstaedt, Mar 1957. The latter item had been the property of the library at Concordia College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and bears signatures of W. H. Katz, and Hammann.
