Biographical / Historical

Harry Krieger was born on 2 May 1914 in Marion, Illinois. He served the Church as a member of the Board of Missions in North, South, and Central America, a member of the Commission on Literature, president of the Michigan District (1957 to 1965), chair of the Board of Control of Concordia College, Ann Arbor, and fourth vice-president of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (1972 to 1974). He died on 13 January 1974.
