Biographical / Historical
Frederick H. Worthmann was born 19 July 1893 at Soltau, Germany to Henry A. F. and Dorothea C. M. (nee Narjes) Worthmann. He graduated from Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) in 1916 and served from 1916 to 1958 at Chicago, Illinois; Alliance and Lincoln, Nebraska; Corder, Missouri; and Winfield, Kansas. He was a member of the Board of Appeals for the LCMS and of the Board of Regencts of Concordia Teachers College (Seward, Nebraska), 1939-1952. He died 7 January 1993 at Lincoln, Nebraska, and his funeral and burial was held on 12 January 1993 at Lincoln.
