Biographical / Historical
Louis Konz was born on 16 August 1920 in New Orleans. In 1944 he went to Nigeria as a missionary. On furlough from 1954 to 1956 he taught at the Alabama Lutheran Academy-College in Selma. He returned to Nigeria until another furlough in 1959, when he accepted a call to a parish in Texas.
