Biographical / Historical
Norbert Kabelitz was born in May 18, 1929 in Fenton, Iowa. He attended Concordia College (Milwaukee) and Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) before serving at Redeemer and Christ Lutheran Churches in (Gary / Holyoke, Minnesota); Olive Branch (Coon Rapids, Minnesota); Hilltop Lutheran Church of the Ascension (South Bend, Indiana); Redeemer (Oklahoma City); Saint Stephen (Pinellas Park, Florida (ELCA)); and Hope Lutheran (ELCA) (Saint Petersburg, Florida). He served as the chairman of Oklahoma Social Ministry Commission, VP of the Southwest Synod of the AELC, and on the Board of Directors of Christ Seminary (Seminex). He died July 20, 2010.
