Biographical / Historical
Husmann was born 18 December 1857 in Marion Township, Allen County, Indiana, the son of Pastor Friedrich Wilhelm Husmann and his wife, Elisabeth nee Menke. His father was the first secretary of the Missouri Synod. Husmann graduated from Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, in 1881 and served parishes at Arcadia, Indiana; Mount Hope and Berea, Ohio; and Huntington, Indiana. He died 10 September 1948.
