Biographical / Historical
Dennis Hilgendorf was born on 8 July 1936 in Freistadt, Wisconsin. He spent most of his life working in the Middle East, first as a missionary in 1962 and 1963. He then became the head of the Middle East Lutheran Ministry, a position he held until 1980. In 1977 he became the director of the Contact and Resource Center in Beruit. He died on 30 November 1989.
