Biographical / Historical
Friedrich Wilhelm Herzberger was born on 23 October 1859 to Friedrich August and his wife, Elisabeth Koch. His father was a pastor and Civil War chaplain. He attended school at Concordia College (Fort Wayne) from 1875 to 1879 and went on to graduate from Concordia Seminary (Saint Louis) in 1882. He was ordained in Little Rock, Arkansas on 16 April 1882. He died on 26 August 1930.
