Biographical / Historical
Norman Albert Hannemann was born on 15 September 1924 in Dimock, South Dakota. He attended Concordia College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and graduated from Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis in 1948. He served parishes in Ponca and Newcastle, Nebraska, Lidderdale, Iowa, Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Norfolk, Nebraska. He also served as the founding pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York, Nebraska. He retired in May of 2004, and died on 27 September 2004.
