Biographical / Historical
Up until 1955 Immanuel Lutheran Church, Jamestown, had been served by pastors of Pleasant Grove. At that time Trinity Lutheran Church (Clark's Fork) and Immanuel Lutheran Church (Pleasant Grove) agreed to form a dual parish, being served by the pastor of Clark's Fork. After 1955, Immanuel Lutheran Church (Jamestown) was served by the pastor of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, California.
Because of a shortage of pastors and a declining membership, Immanuel Lutheran Church disbanded on February 15, 1976.
They reopened in 1989.
