Biographical / Historical
Gotthard Fritzsche was born on 23 July 1797 in Liebenwerda, Saxony. He graduated from the University of Breslau in 1823. From 1842 to 1855 he taught at Lobethal College, an institution which he helped found. He died on 26 October 1863.
