Biographical / Historical

"The Coordinating Council has functioned since 1946. It is the outgrowth of a synodical resolution adopted at Saginaw in 1944."

"Whereas efficiency demands co-operation; therefore be it resolved that The Board for Parish Education, together with the Board for Young People's Work, the Walther League, the Lutheran Laymen's League, and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and other organizations, be urged to have occasional joint meetings for the purpose of evaluating and co-ordinating the educational work which each organization is doing."
