Scope and Contents
- NOTE: Ceramic (bisque) dolls on wood base (except for donkey, ox and Christchild)
- M23: Christchild in basket manger with straw, basket is 4" x 2½” x 1" high, blond Christchild is wrapped in white cloth and lace tied with a piece of shoestring
- M24: Mary, 7¾” high, white robe with silver at neck, light blue mantle, off-white undergarment
- M25: Joseph, 7¾” high, maroon and charcoal gray striped robe with silver at neck, brown mantle, royal blue undergarment, staff in right hand appears to have been broken
- M26: Wise Man #1, 8" high, gray-bearded figure in multi-colored striped robe, red velour cloak with gold-and-red trim, white undergarment, red hat with gold trim, holding a bronze filigree "upside-down basket" on a maroon pillow
- M27: Wise Man #2, 8" high, gray-mustached figure in blue and maroon multi-striped robe, silver cloak with gold and turquoise trim, royal blue hat with same gold and turquoise trim, royal blue undergarment, holding a bronze filigree "bottle" on a royal blue pillow
- M28: Wise Man #3, 8 ¼” high, brown-haired figure in a beige and black geometric print velour robe, gold velour cloak with gold trim, gold cap with same gold trim, royal blue undergarment, holding a silver box on a deep rose pillow
- M29: ox, molded plaster or chalk, 8 ¼” x 3 ½” x 4" high, brown with black cap, stripe down back, tail and hooves, white face, chest, and abdomen, gold horns, lying on (plaster) straw
- M30: donkey, molded plaster or chalk, 7 ¼” x 3" x 3 ¾” high, gray with dark gray cap, stripe down back and tail, white face and abdomen, black hooves, lying on (plaster) straw
- M31: small display sign, "France | Provencial”
