Coin. LCMS Disaster Response - Selma Tornado Challenge Coin, 2023

This coin (64mm diameter) is a "challenge coin" given out to volunteers who assist with LCMS Disaster Response. This coin was given out for the Selma (Alabama) Tornado support. The obverse has an outline of the state of Alabama (blue) with the legend "Selma, AL" and a star at its location. The outer legend reads: "2023 SELMA TORNADO RESPONSE - LCMS DISASTER RESPONSE LERT VOLUNTEER" on a yellow background. The inner legend reads: "PROCLAIMING CHRIST IN THE WAKE OF DISASTER" on a white background. The reverse is Luther's rose with the surrounding legend: "WORD - ALONE - FAITH - ALONE - GRACE - ALONE".
