This pendant with attached bow commemorates the 400th anniversary of the Reformation. The bow is a pinched American flag with a blue star field and red and white stripes. The obverse of the enamel pendant shows a partial bust of Martin Luther. The surrounding legend reads: "400th Anniversary - of Reformation - Dr. Martin Luther - 1517 - 1917". The reverse enamel is white with black legend that reads: "Tri-Cities and Vicinity - September 16 - 1917".
