This medal is similar to CHI medals, 621-626 (R 1917-13 - R 1917-17). The medallion is 1 3/8" diameter. The obverse has a partial bust of Martin Luther. The outer legend reads: "Dr. Martin Luther - Geb. 1483 - Gest. 1546". The reverse shows a near full-length Luther posting the 95 theses. The outer legend reads: "Zur 400 Jahrfeier der Reformation - 31 Okt. 1517-1917".
