(60-7-JWB-658) This plaster recreation of the original Log Cabin Seminary in Perry County is 3 1/2" x 4" x 4 1/2". The roof has the following text: "First Lutheran Seminary in America - 1838 - Altenburg, Missouri" although information indicates that the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg was established in 1826 and Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University sites its origin at 1830.
