Physical Description
(51-12-MSS-8) This is a white wood (balsa?), light, flat spoon, picturing the head a man in a sled being pulled by a reindeer with a mountainous background. This scene, as well as other ornamental etchings, are burned into the material. The spoon also has four small rings of the same material attached to the handle - two on each side. On the back is glued a round, gold label on which is inscribed an "M" and the following: "SUOMEN MESSUT FINLANDSMASSA". The spoon is 5 3/4" long.
