Accession #: AUG 2022 #31. The obverse of this plate has a gold outer rim and a four-color image of the church in the center with the following text.

The reverse has the following text. PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 411 East Sixth Street, McCook, Nebraska, was organized October 9, 1908. Church services were first held in the Court House and later on in the East Ward School. The first church was dedicated September 19, 1909. This was replaced by the present church, dedicated January 29, 1950. The Christian Education Building, erected to the south and connected to the church, was dedicated November 11, 1956. Pastors: William Brueggemann, G. Wockenfuss, Fred Wegener, H. F. Meyer, William Landgraf, H. F. Ramelow. H. C. Loesel, M. V. Meyer, and R. Staehr, installed January 1, 1950. Peace Lutheran congregation was organized with eight charter members. Affiliated with the church in December, 1962, 275 families. World Wide Art Studios (Covington, Tennessee)
