Accession #: AUG 2022 #31. The obverse has a mottled gold outer rim with a brownish image of the church edifice in the center with the following text underneath

  • Tecumseh, Nebraska
  • 1885-1960
The reverse has the following paragraph. St. John's Lutheran Church, organized August 2, 1885, was served first by the pastors of the mother church, St. Peter's, Elk Creek. Resident pastors were H. W. Robbert, 1906-1913: Wm. Mahler, 1914-1921: C. Jobst, 1922-1930: Louis O. Bittner, 1930-1942: Jos. F. Gerken, 1942-1954: Paul W. Sellman, 1954--. In 1887 the Christian Church property on the corner of 6th and Broadway was purchased: the present building on the same site was dedicated in 1925. Klay Kraft - Milford, Nebr.
