Physical Description
This is a brass medal (3" diameter) with a raised image of Saint John of Beverley. Around the top arc it states: John of Beverley Medal 685 A. D. The medalist's name appears on the bottom arc: DeLue 1959. The medalist is Donald Harcourt De Lue (1897-1988). The reverse reads: Presented to International Lutheran Deaf Association for their exemplary work among God's People who are Deaf - July 15, 2001. The edge reads: ©1995 Medallic Art Co. Sioux Falls, S.D. - Bronze. There is an eyelet at the top which hangs from a red / black ribbon. The medal is held in a wooden box (6" square) produced by Medallic Art Company - Danbury, CT (AUG 2021 #5 M4).
