Scope and Contents
A souvenir beer mug from the 1904 World's Fair in Saint Louis. The mug is in one piece, though it has suffered a break and has been repaired (?). It was made in Germany. The mug is white porcelain china and was used for beer. Red lines highlight the mug's shape and handle. On either side of the writing appears a rose with a pink blossom. The mug reads: SOUVENIR WORLD'S GREATEST FAIR ST. LOUIS 1904. There is a tiny hole at the top of the handle of which the purpose is not known. The mug stands 13.5 cm tall and is 7.7 cm wide at the top. There is a companion to this mug: see 79-8-GK-1844
