(71-6-GT-2158; 71-6-GT-2259) Abaca is a plant belonging to the banana family. It numbers fifth among the ten most important export products in the country. Abaca is native to the Philippines and has never been a commercial success in other areas. It has properties that make it resistant to salt water, and especially strong. This coaster is pink, pineapple shaped with black stem. This is an example of the famous "Manila rope."
