Biographical / Historical
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church was located at 19th and Peoria. Because it was the first congregation to be named "Zion" among the six so named, it was known as "First Zion". Zion was organized in 1868, and in 1956 it merged with Pilgrim to form Beautiful Savior.
