Scope and Contents
From Saint John Lutheran Church, Underhill, Wisconsin (Ohio Synod) founded c. 1908, merged in 1938 with neighboring church, and services were discontinued c. 1940. M1 -- black velvet altar hanging, 13 3/4" x 34" plus 2 3/4" gold metallic fringe, with gold metallic and red "ihs" appliques; M2 -- black altar cloth, 110" x 11 1/4" plus 3 1/2" fringe, with hooks along top, some holes; M3 -- white altar cloth, 118" x 9 3/4" cotton plus 9 1/2" deep crocheted panel with grapes, grapevines, chalices, crosses design, a few small stains; M4 -- white crocheted panel, 168" x 10", same design as M3; M5 -- white cover [for communion ware or baptismal font?], with linen top 11" x 11", and seamless crocheted drop edge 9 1/2" deep, same design as M3; M6 -- black fabric cover [for table?], with 14 1/2" x 15" top, 9 1/2" drop plus 3 1/2" fringe, fabric matches M2.
