Biographical / Historical
The church was chartered as "Church of the Reformation-Lutheran" on April 29, 1954. Services were first held at Concordia Seminary chapel from May through October 1954. From October 1954 to October 1956 services were held at Affton Junior High School. The church joined the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in June 1954, and became a member of the English District of the Synod. It remained a member of that district until 1979 when it joined the Missouri District.
