Diploma given to Rev. Calvin P. Thompson by the Practical Department of Luther College (New Orleans, Lousiana) dated 6/29/1905 and signed by F. C. Lankenau, Principal, and E. H. Heintzen, Secretary. In the lower left corner it bears a copper-colored metalic seal and remnants of a yellow ribbon. It is badly folded at top and bottom, water-stained, and yellowed by age. Apparently the item was once stapled to a piece of corrugated cardboard and framed.
