Brown and black wood framed, glass covered lithograph of Martin Luther. The picture is slightly tinted, and shows Luther standing next to a reading stand. Beneath the picture appears: "Copyrighted and Published 1882 by FW Wehle, Milwaukee, Wis." and "Dr. Martin Luther". On the bottom right hand corner of the picture is written "Original Painting by FW Wehle 1882".

This stylized color lithograph by Don Kueker was a popular item in the catalog of Concordia Publishing House. Kueker was an illustrator for CPH for many years. This quarter bust (right) is indicative of the late 1950s and early 1960s and portrays Luther in warm tones with a sophisticated look and a Talar that resembles a smoking jacket.
