Damaged gilt framed b/w picture of Martin Luther at Worms before Charles V, English title, "Martin Luther's Trial at the Diet of Worms", done by Kurz and Allison (Chicago, Illinois). Previously owned by Carl Buescher's father (d. 1945), who had been treasurer at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Wentzville, Missouri) for 50 years. The Sr. Buescher immigrated from Germany in 1881.
