Air Condenser. KFUO (General Radio Company)
This is a General Radio Company variable air condenser (5¾” s 5¾” x 5¾”) with a black metal? top that has been cracked. There are two screw terminals, one circular 0-100 dial and a separate dial knob with “VARIABLE AIR CONDENSER TYPE 239e SERIAL NO. 243 | GENERAL RADIO CO. | CAMBRIDGE MASS.” in white. There is a printed label on the bottom with specifications and calibration data.
Ammeter. KFUO (Weston)
This is a Weston Ammeter (model 301, no. 309243 - 2¾” diameter x 2¾” deep) with a black metal case and two screw terminals on back.
Ammeter. KFUO (Weston)
This is a black metal box with three ammeters. The face measures 19” x 3½” and the box is 5½” deep. There are two Weston Milliammeters (No. 93515 and No. 93461) and one Weston Ammeter (No. 93397) with a single button, plus a double fabric-covered wire leading to an oversize single-prong jack.
Ammeter. KFUO (Yankee)
This is a Volt Ammeter (Yankee - 2” diameter x ¾” deep) with a grey metal case, two screw terminals on the bottom and one knob at the top.
Amplifier. KFUO (Westinghouse)
This is a Westinghouse Aeriola Sr. Amplifier (8½” x 7¼” x 7”) with an attached lid that locks in place with a u-shaped clasp. There is an instruction sheet attached inside the lid with the Radio Corporation of America logo at the bottom. Under the lid is a metal plate with the tops of two radio tubes and two dials for the “FILAMENT RHEOSTAT”s. There are three labeled jacks, five labeled screw terminals, and a plate for the Westinghouse Electric & Mfg. Co.
Attenuation Network. KFUO (Daven Company)
This is a attenuation network in a black metal box by The Daven Company. The face is 19” x 3½” with a box that is 7” deep. There are three dials, six screw jacks, and two input/output devices on the front (type H-693-R, Ser. No. D-25122).
Award. KFUO. Angel Awards, 1999 - 2000
(MAY 2013 #2 M39; MAY 2013 #2 M40; MAY 2013 #2 M41) This is a set of three Angel Award Winner trophies. The statue (11 ½”) is of an angel on a wooden base with a metal plate on the front engraved in black. There is one for 1999 for the National Lutheran Schools Week Radio Campaign in silver, M39, one for 2000 for “Wrestling With The Basics” in silver, M40, and one for 2000 for KFUO-AM Radio 75th Anniversary, M41.
Award. KFUO. Marconi Radio Award, 1981
This is a Marconi Award trophy (8” x 5¼” x 8⅜”). It has the shape of an old radio, painted silver. A brass plaque on the front reads “GREATER ST. LOUIS RADIO BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION | THE MARCONI AWARD | EXCELLENCE IN RADIO ADVERTISING – 1981 | Presented to LUTHERAN CHURCH—MISSOURI SYNOD”. A brass plaque on the back reads “Who Is God, Really? | Agency: KFUO Radio | Producer: Paul Devantier | Category: Public Service (National)”.
Award. KFUO. Marconi Radio Award, 1999
This is a Marconi Radio Award trophy (4½” x 4½”) with a black marble base and an acrylic obelisk (14¼”) and a double-sided Marconi Radio Award medallion in the obelisk. It is a brass plaque with the inscription: “KFUO-FM | 1999 Classical Station of the Year”. Another brass plate is inscribed with: "National Association of BROADCASTERS | NAB".
Beacon Light. KFUO
This is a beacon light (7½” diameter x 8”) with a red glass dome over a clear glass base. This was used on the KFUO radio broadcast tower.
