Scope and Contents

These slides were labeled "SEC 10th anniversary - Rudy[?] Hilda & Meyer[?] - personnel (New flash - an adjustment)". SEC probably refers to "Servicio Educativo Cristiano" the literature arm of LBCM). As incidated by the label, some of the slides are dark and the subject is difficult to distinguish. These slides are now located in slide container 5.

These slides were in boxes labeled "Feb. '79 SEC 7th Av." and "Jun '79 SEC" and contain scenes of personnel at work and the "Servicio Educativo Cristiano" premises. The slides are now located in slide container 5.

This metal case of slides has the original label "LBCM slides" and is now slide container 6 in the collection. The included index sheet indicates the slides display mission work in Tijuana and Mexicali. Many of the slides have handwritten notes on the frame. A smaller grouping of slides in the segment designated "Mexicali beginnings" are labeled "Reddel" and have a detailed contents list included.

Scope and Contents These slides came to the collection in two presentation carousels of about 80 slides each with presentation scripts in each box which are now stored in a nearby folder.The script entitled "LBCM SLIDE PRESENTATION I" indicates that the initial preparation by Gussick in 1977 was revised by Manny Cruz in 1987. The script also notes that four extra slides were added regarding a new church at Tijuana, with ground breaking in 1988.There are two copies...

These slides were returned to Gussick by a family member after use by Garry McClure for a presentation while on furlough. They are now in slide container 5. The images are of a church exterior and interior, groups of people, musicians, and girls dressed in white.

"The Seven Fat Years" slide presentation includes about 195 slides with labeling indicating it covered the Gussicks' time in Guatemala. This came to the collection in three presentation carousels, now rehoused into slide Container 1 preserving the original order. A sub set of about 20 slides was labeled "Removed [indistinct] before 1950".

The LBCM Slide Presentation I (nutrition) consists of 80 slides that came to the collection in a presentation carousel. The carousel was labeled "MASTER SLIDES (not to be sent or loaned)". The slides are now located in slide container 1. Many of the slide include notes on the frame. A presentation script entitled "LBCM SLIDE PRESENTATION I", indicating the slides relate to programs in Tijuana Mexico, is stored in a nearby folder.

The LBCM Slide Presentation II consists of 76 slides that came to the collection in a presentation carousel. The carousel was labeled "SLIDE PRESENTATION - II" and the subject stated was "MEXICO". The slides are now located in slide container 1.

The slide set LBCM Lecture Board Members (Mexico) consists of about 90 slides that came to the collection in a presentation carousel. The carousel had an attached note indicating the contents related to "LBCM Lecture board members" and the subject stated was "MEXICO". The slides are now located in slide container 1. Many of the slides have handwritten notes on the frame and the majority of them are dated January 1976, with some slides dated 1965 through to 1975.

This set of slides was in a presentation carousel labeled "Hawaii" now located in slide container 1. The slides are dated May 1976 and numbered sequentially 1 to 38 then 1 to 39.
