LBCM Updated Presentations, 1987 - 1988

These slides came to the collection in two presentation carousels of about 80 slides each with presentation scripts in each box which are now stored in a nearby folder.

The script entitled "LBCM SLIDE PRESENTATION I" indicates that the initial preparation by Gussick in 1977 was revised by Manny Cruz in 1987. The script also notes that four extra slides were added regarding a new church at Tijuana, with ground breaking in 1988.

There are two copies of the script entitled "SLIDE PRESENTATION - II" with typographical corrections the only changes detected. One of the copies is labeled "ARLIEN'S - DUPLICATE COPY".

An audio cassette, stored nearby, was included with slide presentation 2 and is labeled "Commentary for LBCM slide presentation. Please do not forget to return!"

Earlier copies of these presentations and scripts are also stored in the collection.

Indicating how the presentations were distributed, a label on one of the carousel boxes stated "Please take a few minutes to run through the slides to be sure they are in order. Sending them from church to church there is not always time to check them in at the LBCM office. Thank you! May we ask that you return the slides as soon as you are finithe with them. To: Lutheran Border Concerns Ministry" with address given as 5310 Orange Avenue, San Diego, CA.
