(APR 2019 #20 M9) This is a black vest with thin, jade green stripes and occasional white highlights. It is approximateley 106 cm long and 74 cm wide. It has a round neckline, an opening with no fasteners, and tassels at the bottom.

(APR 2019 #20 M10) This vest has patterns in black, white, and shades of brown with two rows of colored flowers. It is 53 cm long and 43 cm wide. It has a v-shaped neckline with one black button to fasten the front. There are two pockets on the front and tassels at the bottom of the garment.

(APR 2019 #20 M11) This cream colored woven straw[?] hat is bell-shaped and measures 33 cm from the centre to the edge. There is a row of figures around the hat and a fringe around the edge. A note with the hat read: ""Panama" hat | made in | Ecuador".

Panama. Blouse, Skirt and Shoes

Scope and Contents (APR 2019 #20 M12) The skirt and blouse are mostly white and have layer with a green floral design and lace edging. The blouse is approximately 70 cm long and the very full skirt is 93 cm. The shoes are green velvet with colored specks and muted grey line-drawings. There was a note included with the clothing which read: "Panamanian "Pollera" dress (The "real" dress would be embroidered but we couldn't afford - this worked just as well for Carnaval...
