Our Savior Lutheran Church (Saint George, Utah) Official Acts and Records

Our Savior Lutheran Church was legally incorporated on March 27, 1994. The Voters' Assembly voted to join the English District of the LCMS on July 10, 1994. and the congregation was accepted by the English District on April 4, 1995. This congregation purchased land in 1997, but went through years of legal negotiations trying to get the land approved for non-residential building. In the meantime, they worshiped at Washington County Senior Center. Groundbreaking for the church building was on October 20, 2002, and a building permit was finally issued on November 21, 2002. The first service in the new building was held on March 3, 2003, with dedication on April 27, 2003. This congregation closed on September 6, 2022 with an evening worship service led by Rev. Dr. Jamison Hardy, Ehglish District President.
