Guatemala. Male and Female Figures

(APR 2019 #20 M34) The female figure is 17.5 cm high, standing on a base measuring 4 by 3.5 cm. The figure is wearing a blue and green skirt, blue and white top, yellow waistband and a black head covering with yellow and red trim. She is holding a baby and balancing a basket holding bowls and wooden sticks on her head. The male figure 15 cm high on a 4.5 by 3.7 cm base. He is dressed in a black, red and black costume with a red head covering. The figure is playing a wind instrument and is carrying a barrel across his shoulders.
The note included with the pair read: "Guatemala".
