Scope and Contents

(APR 2019 #20 M24) This totem pole is black and 15.5cm tall. The figures depicted (top to bottom) are an eagle, two wolf-like animals, a bear and a human. The left tip of the eagle wing is missing. The totem pole is housed in red-lidded box labelled "BOMA | CANADA", with dimensions 16.4 by 5.3 by 3.6 cm. An enclosed leaflet entitled "totem poles with the stories they tell" provides general information about totem poles.

Information on the box indicates this item came from either Guatemala or Panama via Mary Gussick-Lohrbach.
