A 27" x 31" gold wood framed, colored oil portrait on canvas of Mrs. E. G. W. Keyl by E. Rudolph.It is assumed the portrait is of Sophie Amalie Vogel, whom Keyl married in 1846. Ernst Benjamin Rudolph had his own studio in Baltimore and was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, where Keyl was the pastor from 1850 to 1869. The portait would have been painted during his time there.
